First 2011 Movie Review

The Green Hornet 6.9/10
Staring: Seth Rogen, Jay Chou
Director: Michel Gondry

The Green Hornet was a pretty cool action, crime, comedy. They used gadgets I had seen before but made them look cool.

I was severely disappointed in the Green Hornet. What a missed opportunity to create a new legacy of dynamic duo/mask Robin Hood heroism using today's technology and social conscience. Unfortunate was the fact that they made the Green Hornet a selfish, ego-maniacal laughing stock rather than the cool, calm and collected philanthropic business man plagued by mistaken identity. GH was always a mission driven gentleman who respected women, not objectifying them. He and Bruce Lee never fought amongst themselves or showed jealousy toward one another - rather respect. BL rarely spoke that much, but in most cases he was the reason many of us watched because of action-packed butt-kicking. Okay, I'll give you the stun gun was funny and the actors delivered that awful script. Aside from that - waste of two hours.
