My most anticipated film to watch of the 2015 summer was Straight Outta Compton because of the intriguing red band trailer and movie subject matter which was hip hop/rap history. This film is a biography about the rap group N.W.A which included Ice Cube, Dr. Dre, Eazy-E, MC Ren, and DJ Yella. In Straight Outta Compton Ice Cube was played by one of his sons O'Shea Jackson Jr. Straight Outta Compton brought me into the early lives of the
members of N.W.A and showed me what it was like to be a rapper in the
early years of hip hop. Overall I thought this film was satisfactory.
