Maleficent was an engaging re-imagining of the movie Sleeping Beauty but not my favorite Angelina Jolie movie. Angelina Jolie did do another great performance as Maleficent because she was able to play both an evil and caring character. Also I thought the story line was a nice change because it focused on the Sleeping Beauty villain Maleficent and made us think about that character in a different way. In addition I liked how they showed the power of Maleficent's wings.
