NFC Conference Championship
The third week of the NFL playoffs are called the Conference Championship Round and
are
the third weekend after the NFL regular season ends. At half time in the NFC Conference Championship the Seattle Seahawks were down 16-0 to the Green Bay Packers. After the third quarter the Seahawks were down 16-7 to the Packers. With 5 minutes left in the game the Seahawks were still down 19-7 but then went on a run where they scored 15 more points and ended the game tied 22-22. The game then went to overtime where the Seahawks won the coin toss and decide to receive the football first. On that possession of the football Russell Wilson completed a pass to Jermaine Kearse and the Seahawks received a touchdown which won them the game 28-22. This means the Seattle Seahawks return for the second year in a row to the NFL Super Bowl and this time play the New England Patriots which won the American Football League's (AFL) Conference Championship.
